Before we set up wine making in the Anjou region, we ran a bar-cum-wine shop in Tours. It was there that we came into contact with wine makers such as Francois Chidaine and Jo Pithon. They cemented our desire to make wine. We studied wine growing and winemaking at the Amboise wine school under two professors… our mentors and heroes : Thierry Puzelat and Christian Chaussard.
• 1995-1996 : I made my first wine at Bossay sur Claise in the department of Inde et Loire. Seduced by these first wines, Jacky Dallais helped me a lot and it was because of him that I was able to work in Bourgogne
• 1997-1998 : Volnay/Pommard : Influential meetings with Jacquou Thevenot, Francois Milulski, Dominique Derain, Frederic Cossard.
• 1999 : Jo Pithon signalled the opportunity to take over our present Domaine in Saint Lambert du Lattay and voila…there you have it !
